Hold on to your hats people because Husqvarna have dropped the new Automower® 405X model for 2021 and it’s the absolute peak of the robotic lawnmowing world!
With a chunky, no nonsense look, and positively loaded with tech, the 405X means business, and it looks the part too.
It’s designed for lawns of up to 600m2 and can handle complicated spaces, it’ll even tackle slopes with an incline of up to 40%. It’s got the usual tech you would expect with all Automower® models, but the 405X also allows users to tweak extra stuff like blade height remotely from their smart phone. This kind of tech was previously unheard of, so Husqvarna are breaking new ground here.
Whatever next, will it fertilise your lawn too? Oh wait, it already does. Robotic lawnmowers mulch up clippings so small that they are reabsorbed into the soil creating the ultimate eco-fertiliser for that ultra-green perfect lawn look. Nice 😎.
Not to be outdone, the 405X’s bigger brother, the 415X, has also been released, which will make light work of larger gardens up to 1500m2. And it’s just as nippy too, it’ll get round all those tricky trees and difficult spaces, and will still tackle those 40% inclines, no bother.
It looks like we’re all going to be spending a lot of time in our gardens again this year, but don’t worry, the 405X won’t interrupt your family football matches or put a damper on your BBQ.
The 405X is so quiet it can be set to mow at night without disturbing yourself or even your closest neighbours, and it’ll also judge the weather and mow when the conditions are perfect (it can even mow during a downpour!).
The Automower® Connect app allows you to operate your mower from your smartphone, start and stop the mower, check its status and change settings from anywhere in the world. So even if you’re at a movie premiere (or just down the pub) and you want a freshly mown lawn when you get home, it’s available to you at the touch of a button.
