QUESTIONS ABOUT ROBOTIC LAWNMOWERS

Robotic lawn mowers can actually do a better job than you can with a manual mower! This is because robotic mowers mow in a random pattern, which has been agreed by experts to be best way to mow a lawn for the optimum health of the grass. Your mower has a charging station where it “lives” and will only leave its base to mow. All our robotic lawn mowers are designed to live outside. For more information, please see “How Does a Robotic Lawn Mower Work?”

Robotic lawn mowers work by reading a signal which is sent through a perimeter wire laid around your garden and around any garden features like borders and sheds. We would recommend that the perimeter wire is only laid around permanent features (such as flower borders, trees or sheds). All robotic lawn mowers have a sensor which will make the mower change direction if it bumps into things, and some mowers even have a GPS feature which will allow it to remember temporary obstacles (like trampolines). Robotic lawn mowers are designed so that you don’t have to lift a finger to keep an immaculately presented lawn, you do not have to be there while it does its work. Most of them are even quiet enough to mow throughout the night without disturbing yourself or your neighbours. For more information, please see “How Does a Robotic Lawn Mower Work?”

Your robotic lawn mower is designed to work through all weather conditions. However, it is not recommended to mow your lawn during torrential rain as this can affect the health of the lawn. Most of our robotic lawn mowers have rain sensors which will send the mower back to its base station in the event of a heavy rain shower. Robotic lawn mowers have a collision feature, so that if the mower bumps into people, pets or unexpected items on the lawn it immediately moves away safely and without interrupting its job. If the robotic lawn mower is lifted off the ground for any reason, the blades and mower will cut out and stop immediately. All orders over £100 will be delivered FREE OF CHARGE by courier.

All orders under £100 are charged at £6.95 and will be sent using recorded delivery.

We aim to deliver products within 5 working days after the acceptance of your order and all items will be delivered between Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.

All orders placed after 4pm on Fridays will not be processed until the following Monday (except in the case of a Bank Holiday, in which case we will process the order on the following Tuesday).

In the unexpected circumstances there is a delay to your order, we will contact you immediately by phone and email.

We use DPD, Parcelforce and Royal Mail to ensure the quickest and safest way of delivering your goods.

We will send all items using a tracked service, to give you total peace of mind. We will send you confirmation of your tracking number via your email address.

All orders must to be signed for by someone over the age of 18, please ensure someone will be available to sign for the delivery of your goods.
