2018 HIGHLIGHTS
What an exciting 2018 we had!
THE TEAM AT RADIO MARLOW IN JANUARY
We became local celebrities when we appeared on Radio Marlow and Southampton’s Voice Radio! Both of these interviews gave us the opportunity to share our joy and passion for robotic mowers, while having some fun with the DJ’s.
We hit up a couple of shows on the circuit too, with stands at Henley Show and Emmett and Stone Country Pursuit Show. Henley Show is becoming a regular on our calendar now and we are looking forward to seeing you all there in 2019! At the Emmett and Stone Country Pursuit Show our trade stand not only showed our mowers but highlighted the free time the little beauties give you at the weekend, so that you can spend your precious spare time doing the things you really care about.
In late November we expanded our premises to include a new workshop area, which will allow us to provide a better service to our customers through servicing and upgrading mowers.
HUSQQVARNA 315X
There were some big developments in the industry with Husqvarna introducing the 315X, one of their most advanced domestic mowers. With connectivity as standard and slope and balance control, as well as the ability to mow gardens of up to 1500m2, it is already proving very popular with our customers. As well as that, Husqvarna also released their Bluetooth Connect@home as standard on their 310, 315 and 420 automower models. Connect@home gives owners complete control over their mowers, allowing you to control your mower from both your smart phone or your Alexa device.
And there is even better news for Husqvarna, their dependable 310 is now our best seller for small lawns.
THINGS TO COME IN 2019
Robomow are shortly introducing the new RX50u, which is capable of cutting lawns up to 500m2, watch this space for more information!
At Autolawn HQ our new workshop area has now been refurbished and provides us with the perfect space to carry out all servicing, repair and warranty work. In addition, we are now the proud owners of a Husqvarna purpose built Automower service bench, which allows us to work on every model of Automower manufactured in the last 20 years. We all get attached to our mowers and want to ensure that they continue working for you and your family for many years to come.
With so many things happening at Autolawn and within the industry, the word is out, robotic lawnmowers are no longer the best kept secret of perfect lawn owners. The cat is out of the bag and we predict a busy and positive year for both Autolawn and the robotic lawnmower industry!
